Celestial Dances over Ireland

Celestial Dances over Ireland
Talk by Sryan Bruen, a Dublin based landscape photographer at Malahide Library.
Auroras are a wonderful celestial dance in our night sky but why have they seemingly become a lot more common all of a sudden? Why does the aurora come out so much brighter and colourful on camera? What settings does one use to photograph it? Where does one go to capture it at its best? How can you predict its appearance? These are all questions Sryan Bruen is hoping to answer and more in his talk discussing auroras as part of Irish Astronomy Week.
